The inquiry will finish on 5th-6th January after being adjourned until Tuesday 26th – Thursday 28th of February. The inquiry will be held in Chester Town Hall again starting at 9.30 each day. It has already run from 15th  to 18th and 22nd to 23rd January. Please find out more about what is going on and show your support. You can be present for the whole day (knitting allowed) or just pop in for an hour if you are in Chester shopping. Please come and support us.

Introduction

The inquiry involves three parties:

  • I Gas – appealing against the decision
  • Chester West and Chester Council (CWAC) – Defending the decision for refusal
  • Frack Free Ellesmere Port and Upton – Interested party defending the decision for refusal

The main documentation in the inquiry consists of the:

  • The Opening Statements made by each party
  • Statements of Case for each party
  • Proofs of Evidence (Summary and Detail) for each party, which support the Statements of Case
  • Core Documents that are referenced in the Proofs of Evidence
  • Public Statements (none were made in support of IGas)
